The Role
The Data Analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Query, collate and analyse WHS performance data from various sources to identify trends and benchmark against organisational metrics and lead/lag key performance indicators.
- Contribute to the identification, development and implementation of organisational metrics and lead/lag key performance indicators for the monitoring and evaluation of WHS performance.
- Cleanse datasets to ensure high quality data
- Analyse and interpret data reliably and communicate fundings succinctly to a range of stakeholders
- Develop in-house mechanisms for data collection
- Review and improve methodologies regarding the end-to-end management of WHS performance data to ensure timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of the processes
- Work collaboratively with other staff to proactively identify business improvement opportunities and implement contemporary technologies
- Prepare briefs, correspondence, procedures and scheduled and adhoc performance reports in a variety of formats including graphical representations as requested

The Candidate
- Tertiary qualifications in business/data analysis would be highly
regarded - Demonstrated experience in the analysis of complex technical data
using logic and reasoning - High standards of written and verbal communication
- High level proficiency with relevant applications such as Power
BI,SharePoint, Excel, Visio and Word, is highly desirable - Wants to work in an environment where your efforts make a real difference every day.
